Then Jesus said, “I tell you the truth. Some of you people standing here will see the kingdom of God come before you die. The kingdom of God will come with power.”


The Holy Spirit told Simeon that he would not die before he saw the Christ {\cf2\super [36]} from the Lord (God).


I will never drink wine again until God’s kingdom comes.”


There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you.


But I tell you the truth. It is better for you that I go away. Why? Because when I go away I will send the Helper {\cf2\super [223]} to you. But if I did not go away, then the Helper would not come.


When Jesus said this, the people picked up rocks to throw at him. But Jesus hid, and then he left the temple {\cf2\super [151]} area.


For a short time Jesus was made lower than the angels, but now we see him wearing a crown of glory and honor because he suffered and died. Because of God’s grace (kindness) Jesus died for every person.
