3 Aaron will keep the light burning in the Meeting Tent [415] before the Lord from evening until morning. The light will be outside the curtain {that hangs} in front of the {Box of the} Agreement. [416] This law will continue forever.
3 Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.
3 Outside the veil of the Testimony [between the Holy and the Most Holy Places] in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morning before the Lord continually; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.
3 Without the veil of the testimony, in the tent of meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before Jehovah continually: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations.
3 Aaron will tend the lamp, which will be inside the meeting tent but outside the inner curtain of the covenant document, from evening until morning before the LORD. This is a permanent rule throughout your future generations.
3 outside the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the covenant. And Aaron shall place these, from evening until morning, before the Lord, as a perpetual worship and ritual in your generations.
3 Without the veil of the testimony in the tabernacle of the covenant. And Aaron shall set them from evening until morning before the Lord, by a perpetual service and rite in your generations.
Aaron and his sons will have the job of caring for the lamp. They will go into {the first room of} the Meeting Tent. [234] This is outside {the room with} the Agreement [235] that is behind the curtain {that separates the two rooms}. In this place they will make sure the lamp continues burning before the Lord from evening till morning. The people of Israel and their descendants [236] must obey this law forever.”
