Noah did all these things. Noah obeyed all the things that God commanded.


The Lord’s teachings warn his servant.\par Good things come from obeying them.\par


Moses obeyed the Lord. He did everything that the Lord commanded him.


If a nation is not guided by God, then that nation will not have peace. But the nation that obeys God’s law will be happy.


The Lord said to me, “Jeremiah, preach this message in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. This is the message: Listen to the words of this Agreement. {\cf2\super [91]} And then obey those laws.


And I will put my Spirit inside you. {\cf2\super [282]} I will change you so you will obey my laws. You will carefully obey my commands.


My true brother and sister and mother is any person that does the things my Father in heaven wants.”


But Jesus said, “The people that hear the teaching of God and obey it—they are the people that are truly happy!”


You are my friends if you do the things I tell you to do.


Hearing the law does not make people right with God. The law makes people right with God only if those people always obey everything the law says.


When a person is in Christ Jesus, it is not important if he is circumcised or not. The important thing is faith—the kind of faith that works through love.


But you must not be like that. You must carefully study God’s perfect law that makes people free. You must continue to study it. You must listen to God’s teaching and not forget what you heard. Then you must obey what God’s teaching says. When you do this, it will make you truely happy.


And when a person knows how to do good, but does not do good, then he is sinning.


“Those people who washed their robes {\cf2\super [174]} will be blessed. They will have the right to \{eat the food from\} the tree of life. They can go through the gates into the city.
