But your father cheated me. Your father has changed my pay ten times. But during all this time, God protected me from all of Laban’s tricks.


Joseph saw his brothers. Joseph recognized them, but he acted like he didn’t know them. He was rude when he spoke to them. He said, “Where do you come from?”


Then the Jews living among our enemies came and said this to us ten times, ‘Our enemies are all around us. They are everywhere we turn.’”
