But wisdom and power belong to God.\par Good advice and understanding are his.\par


Will you speak lies for God?\par Do you really believe your lies are what\par God wants you to say?\par


If God checked you very closely,\par would he show you are right?\par Do you really think you can fool God\par the same as you fool people?\par


But God’s Spirit makes a person wise.\par That ‘breath’ from God All-Powerful\par makes people understand.\par


The Lord gives wisdom. Knowledge and understanding come from his mouth.


But, it is the Lord who is wise. And it is the Lord who will bring trouble against them. The people will not be able to change the Lord’s command. The Lord will rise and fight against the evil people (Judah). And the Lord will fight against the people (Egypt) that try to help them.


And if a prophet is foolish enough to give his own answer, then I will show him how foolish he is! I will use my power against him. I will destroy him and remove him from among my people, Israel.


Don’t let us be tempted (tested);\par but save us from the Evil One\par (the devil).’ {\cf2\super [77]} \par
