Then the prophet Zedekiah went to Micaiah. Zedekiah hit Micaiah on the face. Zedekiah said, “Do you really believe that the Lord’s power has left me and is now speaking through you?”


Then Zedekiah went over to Micaiah and hit him in the face. Zedekiah’s father’s name was Kenaanah. Zedekiah said, “Micaiah, which way did the spirit from the Lord go when he went from me to speak to you?”


“No person can teach knowledge to God.\par God judges even people in high places.\par


“Job, pay attention to me.\par Listen to me.\par Be quiet and let me talk.\par


The Lord tells his secrets to his followers.\par He teaches his Agreement {\cf2\super [153]} to them.\par


If they had stood in my heavenly council,\par then they would have told my messages\par to the people of Judah.\par They would have stopped the people\par from doing bad things.\par They would have stopped them\par from doing evil.”\par


The Lord my Master might decide to do something. But before he does anything, he will tell his plans to his servants, the prophets.


I don’t call you servants now. A servant does not know what his master is doing. But now I call you friends because I have told you everything I heard from my Father.
