It was in those days that Hezekiah became very sick and near death. He prayed to the Lord. The Lord spoke to Hezekiah and gave him a sign. {\cf2\super [395]}


One time the leaders of Babylon sent messengers to Hezekiah. Those messengers asked about a strange sign that had happened in the nations. {\cf2\super [396]} When they came, God left Hezekiah alone to test him and to know everything that was in Hezekiah’s heart. {\cf2\super [397]}


This is the letter from Hezekiah when he became well from the sickness:


The Lord said, “Ask for a sign to prove to yourself that these things are true. You can ask for any sign you want. The sign can come from a place as deep as Sheol, {\cf2\super [83]} or the sign can come from a place as high as the skies. {\cf2\super [84]} ”


The Pharisees {\cf2\super [214]} and Sadducees {\cf2\super [215]} came to Jesus. They wanted to test Jesus. So they asked Jesus to show them a miracle {\cf2\super [216]} to prove that he was from God.


Then Gideon said to the Lord, “If you are pleased with me, give me proof that you really are the Lord.
