Their tables are covered with food.\par They have such big fellowship meals.\par I hope those meals destroy them.\par


\{So the Lord speaks to them like they are babies\}:


We are like people without eyes.\par We walk into walls like blind people.\par We stumble and fall like it is night.\par Even in the daylight we can’t see.\par At noontime we fall like dead men.\par


I used the prophets,\par and made laws for the people.\par The people were killed at my command.\par But good things will come\par from those decisions. {\cf2\super [64]} \par


Even if I wrote 10,000 laws for Ephraim,\par he would treat them like they were\par for some stranger.\par


So these people show that the things Isaiah said about them are true:


The person that falls on this stone will be broken. And if the stone falls on a person, then it will crush that person.” {\cf2\super [302]}


To the people who are being lost, we are the smell of death that brings death. But to the people who are being saved, we are the smell of life that brings life. So who is good enough to do this work?


Paul writes like this about these things in all his letters. Sometimes there are things in Paul’s letters that are hard to understand. Some people explain those things falsely. Those people are ignorant and weak in faith. Those same people also falsely explain the other Scriptures. {\cf2\super [15]} But they are destroying themselves by doing that.
