In front of the Most Holy Place, was the main part of the temple. This room was 40 cubits [41] long.


The temple was 60 cubits [31] long, 20 cubits [32] wide, and 30 cubits [33] high.


They shut the doors of the porch of the temple and let the fire go out in the lamps. They stopped burning incense {\cf2\super [337]} and offering burnt offerings {\cf2\super [338]} in the Holy Place {\cf2\super [339]} to the God of Israel.


These are the measurements Solomon used for building the foundation of God’s temple. {\cf2\super [25]} The foundation was 60 cubits {\cf2\super [26]} long and 20 cubits {\cf2\super [27]} wide. Solomon used the old cubit measure when he measured the temple.
