At the king’s command the messengers hurried off. The command was given in the capital city of Susa. The king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city of Susa was confused.


There is a time to cry,\par and a time to laugh.\par There is a time to be sad,\par and a time to dance from joy.\par


The Lord’s anger will not stop\par until he finishes what he plans to do.\par When that day is over,\par you will understand this clearly.\par


Get the horses ready.\par Soldiers, get on your horses.\par Go to your places for battle.\par Put your helmets on.\par Sharpen your spears.\par Put your armor on.\par
