Then anoint the bowl and the base under it. Do this to make those things holy.


Bring the Levite people to the area in front of the Meeting Tent. [127] Then bring all the people of Israel together at that place.


Jesus was baptized {\cf2\super [46]} and he came up out of the water. The sky opened, and he saw God’s Spirit coming down on him like a dove.


The angel said to Mary, “The Holy Spirit {\cf2\super [15]} will come to you and the power of the Most High (God) will cover you. The baby will be holy. He will be called the Son of God.


God sent him (Jesus). And he tells the things that God says. God gives \{him\} the Spirit {\cf2\super [56]} fully.


The law {\cf2\super [61]} was without power because the law was made weak by our sinful selves. But God did what the law could not do. God sent his own Son to earth with the same human life that other people use for sin. God sent his Son to be an offering to pay for sin. So God used a human life to condemn (destroy) sin.


But when the right time came, God sent his Son. God’s Son was born from a woman. God’s Son lived under the law. {\cf2\super [48]}
