The workers made two statues of Cherub angels [47] with wings. The workers made the statues from olive wood. These Cherub angels were put in the Most Holy Place. Each angel was 10 cubits [48] tall.


David built houses for himself in the City of David. {\cf2\super [150]} Then he built a place to put the Box of the Agreement. {\cf2\super [151]} He set up a tent for it.


Then Solomon and all the people gathered together with him went to the high place {\cf2\super [1]} at Gibeon. God’s Meeting Tent {\cf2\super [2]} was there. The Lord’s servant Moses made that tent when he and the people of Israel were in the desert.


Solomon made two Cherub angels {\cf2\super [37]} to put in the Most Holy Place. The workers covered the Cherub angels with gold.


“Then make two Cherub angels [174] and put them on each end of the cover. Hammer gold to make these angels.


When I meet with you, I will speak from between the Cherub angels [177] on the cover that is on the Box of the Agreement. [178] From that place I will give all my commands to the people of Israel.


I have also chosen Oholiab to work with him. Oholiab is the son of Ahisamach from the family group of Dan. And I have given skills to all the other workers so they can make all the things that I have commanded you:


the Meeting Tent, [317] the Box of the Agreement, [318] the cover [319] for the Box,


All of you people who are skilled workers should make all of the things the Lord commanded:


Each curtain was the same size—28 cubits [384] long and 4 cubits [385] wide.


(They hammered the gold into thin strips. Then they cut the gold into long threads. And they wove the gold into the blue, purple, and red yarn and fine linen. This was the work of a very skilled person.)
