On that mountain, Moses saw the Angel of the Lord in a burning bush. {This is how it happened.} Moses saw a bush that was burning without being destroyed.


When Moses saw this, he was amazed. He went near to look closer at it. Moses heard a voice; it was the Lord’s (God’s).
