All the tools, tent pegs, and other things used in the Holy Tent [233] must be made from bronze. And all the pegs {for the curtains around the courtyard} must be made from bronze.


The people also brought spices and olive oil. These things were used for the sweet-smelling incense, [378] the anointing oil, [379] and the oil for the lamps.

They showed him the pure gold lampstand and the lamps on it. And they showed him the oil and all the other things that were used with the lamps.

These two witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.


But the olive tree said, “Men and gods praise me for my oil. Should I stop making my oil just to go and sway over the other trees?”


Samuel lay in bed in the Lord’s Holy Building. [35] God’s Holy Box [36] was in that Holy Building. The Lord’s lamp was still burning.
