So every baby boy in your nation will be circumcised. Every boy that is born from your family or bought as a slave will be circumcised.


If the person is not married when he becomes your slave, then when he becomes free, he will leave without a wife. But if the man is married when he becomes your slave, then he will keep his wife at the time he is made free.


“But maybe the slave will decide that he wants to stay with the master. Then he must say, ‘I love my master. I love my wife and my children. I will not become free—I will stay.’
