15 The locusts covered the ground, and the whole country became dark. The locusts ate every plant on the ground and all of the fruit in the trees that the hail had not destroyed. There weren’t any leaves left on any of the trees or plants anywhere in Egypt.

God gave their crops to the grasshoppers,\par and their other plants to the locusts.\par


The Lord told Moses, “Raise your arm over the land of Egypt and the locusts will come! The locusts will spread all over the land of Egypt. The locusts will eat all the plants that the hail did not destroy.”


The locusts will cover the land. There will be so many locusts that you won’t be able to see the ground. Anything that was left from the hailstorm will be eaten by the locusts. The locusts will eat all the leaves from every tree in the field.

What the cutting locust {\cf2\super [1]} has left,\par the swarming locust has eaten.\par And what the swarming locust has left,\par the hopping locust has eaten.\par And what the hopping locust has left,\par the destroying locust {\cf2\super [2]} has eaten!\par

The locusts ate all the grass in the country. After that I said, “Lord my Master, I beg you, forgive us! Jacob {\cf2\super [86]} can’t survive! He is \{too\} small!”
