Esther 8:15 - Easy To Read Version

¹⁵ Mordecai left the king. Mordecai was wearing special clothes from the king. His clothes were blue and white, and he had on a large gold crown. He also had a purple robe made of the best linen. {\cf2\super [27]} There was a special celebration in Susa. The people were very happy.

So Haman got the robe and the horse. Then he put the robe on Mordecai and led him on horseback through the city streets. Haman announced ahead of Mordecai, “This is done for the man the king wants to honor!”
