When Abram was 99 years old, the Lord appeared to him. The Lord said, “I am God All-Powerful. [91] Do these things for me: Obey me and live the right way.


Is anything too hard for the Lord? No! I will come again in the spring when I said I would. And your wife Sarah will have a son.”


But if God decides not to help them,\par then no person can judge God guilty.\par If God hides himself from people,\par then no person can find him.\par God is the ruler over people and nations.\par


He will save you from six troubles.\par Yes, might endure seven disasters\par and not be hurt!\par


God is in heaven,\par and he does whatever he wants.\par


The Lord saves good people.\par When good people have troubles,\par the Lord is their strength.\par


The Lord helps good people\par and saves them.\par Good people depend on the Lord,\par and he saves them from bad people.\par


Lord, those people will be like a dream\par that we forget when we wake up.\par You will make those people disappear\par like the monsters in our dreams.\par


God saves me.\par I trust him.\par I am not afraid.\par He saves me.\par The Lord YAH is my strength.\par He saves me.\par And I sing songs of praise about him. {\cf2\super [139]} \par


You will be built on goodness.\par So you will be safe\par from cruelty and fear.\par You will have nothing to fear.\par Nothing will come to hurt you.\par


Don’t be afraid of anyone.\par I am with you,\par and I will protect you.”\par This message is from the Lord.\par


I will make you strong.\par Those people will think you are strong\par like a wall made of bronze.\par The people of Judah will fight against you.\par But they will not defeat you.\par They will not defeat you.\par Why? Because I am with you.\par I will help you and I will save you.”\par


“I will save you from those evil people.\par Those people scare you.\par But I will save you from those people.”\par


Then Nebuchadnezzar went to the opening of the hot furnace. He shouted, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, come out! Servants of the Most High God, come here!”


People on earth are not truly important.\par God does what he wants\par with the powers of heaven\par and the people on earth.\par No one can stop his powerful hand!\par No one can question the things he does!\par


So King Darius gave the order. They brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den (cage). The king said to Daniel, “I hope the God you worship saves you!”


King Darius was very happy. He told his servants to lift Daniel out of the lions’ den (cage). And when Daniel was lifted out of the den they did not find any injury on his body. Daniel was not hurt by the lions because he trusted in his God.


God helps and saves people.\par God does amazing miracles\par in heaven and on earth.\par God saved Daniel from the lions.”\par


So I will look to the Lord \{for help\}!\par I will wait for God to save me.\par My God will hear me.\par


I don’t care about my own life. The most important thing is that I finish my work. I want to finish the work that the Lord Jesus gave me to do—to tell people the Good News about God’s grace (kindness).


But Paul said, “Why are you crying? Why are you making me so sad? I am ready to be tied in Jerusalem. I am also ready to die for the name of the Lord Jesus!”


So what should we say about this? If God is for us, then no person can stand against us. And God is with us.


God saved us from these great dangers of death. And God will continue to save us. We have put our hope in him, and he will continue to save us.


So Christ can save those people who come to God through him. Christ can do this forever, because he always lives, ready to help people when they come before God.


The Lord saved me from the lion and the bear. The Lord will also save me from this Philistine.”


Today the Lord will let me defeat you! I will kill you. Today I will cut off your head and feed your body to the birds and wild animals. We will do that to all the other Philistines too! Then all the world will know there is a God in Israel!
