17 Jesus heard the voice of the Greatest Glory (God). That was when Jesus received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice said, “This is my Son, and I love him. I am very pleased with him.”

“Look at my Servant!\par I support him.\par He is the one I chose.\par And I am very pleased with him.\par I put my Spirit in him.\par He will judge the nations fairly.\par


The Lord decided to crush him. The Lord decided that he must suffer, so the Servant gave himself to be the one to die. But he will live a new life for a long, long time. He will see his people. He will complete the things the Lord wants him to do.


“Here is my servant;\par I (God) have chosen him.\par I love him, and I am pleased with him;\par I will put my Spirit {\cf2\super [166]} on him,\par and he will judge the nations fairly.\par


Then two men were there, talking with Jesus. The men were Moses and Elijah. {\cf2\super [236]}


While Peter was talking, a bright cloud came over them. A voice came from the cloud. The voice said, “This (Jesus) is my Son and I love him. I am very pleased with him. Obey him!”


So go and make followers of all people in the world. Baptize {\cf2\super [444]} them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. {\cf2\super [445]}


And a voice spoke from heaven. The voice said, “This (Jesus) is my Son and I love him. I am very pleased with him.”


A voice came from heaven and said: “You are my Son and I love you. I am very pleased with you.”


Then a cloud came and covered them. A voice came from the cloud and said, “This (Jesus) is my Son and I love him. Obey him!”


“My Father has given me all things. No person knows who the Son is—only the Father knows. And only the Son knows who the Father is. The only people that will know about the Father are those people the Son chooses to tell.”


The Holy Spirit {\cf2\super [60]} came down on him. The Spirit looked like a real dove. Then a voice came from heaven and said, “You are my Son and I love you. I am very pleased with you.”


So why do you say that I am saying things that are against God because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? I am the one God chose and sent into the world.


Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me. Or believe because of the miracles {\cf2\super [212]} I have done.


Jesus answered, “I am the way. I am the truth and the life. The only way to the Father is through me.


Father, I pray that all people that believe in me can be one. You are in me and I am in you. I pray that these people can also be one in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.


Jesus said to her, “Don’t hold me. I have not yet gone back up to the Father. But go to my brothers (followers) and tell them this: ‘I am going back to my Father and your Father. I am going back to my God and your God.’”


The Father loves the Son. The Father has given the Son power over everything.


The Father loves the Son, and the Father shows the Son all the things he does. \{This man was healed.\} But the Father will show the Son greater things than this to do. Then you will all be amazed.


Life comes from the Father (God) himself. So the Father has also allowed the Son (Jesus) to give life.


Earthly food spoils and ruins. So don’t work to get that kind of food. But work to get the food that stays good always and gives you life forever. The Son of Man {\cf2\super [87]} will give you that food. God the Father showed that he is with the Son of Man.”


The Father gives me my people. Every one of those people will come to me. I will always accept every person that comes to me.


I must not lose any person that God has given me. But I must raise up those people on the last day. This is what the One who sent me wants me to do.


Then you will all be joined together. And all together you will give glory (praise) to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.


Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is the Father who is full of mercy. He is the God of all comfort.


God knows that I am not lying. He is the God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ, and he is to be praised forever.


The Son shows the glory of God. He is a perfect copy of God’s nature. The Son holds everything together with his powerful command. The Son made people clean from their sins. Then he sat down at the right side {\cf2\super [2]} of the Great One (God) in heaven.
