Naaman and all his group came back to the man of God [48] (Elisha). He stood before Elisha and said, “Look, I now know there is no God in all the earth except in Israel! Now please accept a gift from me!”


This girl said to Naaman’s wife, “I wish that my master (Naaman) would meet the prophet (Elisha) who lives in Samaria. That prophet could heal Naaman of his leprosy. [39] ”


Elisha, the man of God, [43] heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes {to show that he was upset}. So Elisha sent this message to the king: “Why did you tear your clothes? Let Naaman come to me. Then he will know there is a prophet in Israel!”


Then the people will fear and obey you as long as they live in the land you gave our ancestors. {\cf2\super [109]}


God showed his great power and strength.\par His true love continues forever.\par

Many people and many powerful nations will come to Jerusalem to find the Lord All-Powerful and to worship him.


On the judgment day, you people that live now will also be compared with the Queen of the South, {\cf2\super [181]} and she will be a witness to show that you are wrong (guilty). Why? Because she traveled from far, far away to listen to Solomon’s wise teaching. And I tell you that someone greater than Solomon is right here, \{but you won’t listen to me\}!


Jesus was born in the town of Bethlehem in Judea. He was born during the time when Herod {\cf2\super [17]} was king. After Jesus was born, some wise men from the east came to Jerusalem.


I have other sheep too. They are not in this flock here. I must lead them also. They will listen to my voice. In the future there will be one flock and one shepherd.


There were some Greek people there too. These were some of the people that went to Jerusalem to worship at the Passover {\cf2\super [199]} festival.

Rahab said, “I know that the Lord has given this land to your people. You frighten us. All the people living in this country are afraid of you.


The men answered, “We are your servants. We have come from a faraway country. We came because we heard of the great power of the Lord your God. We heard about the things he did. We heard about everything he did in Egypt.


But Ruth said, “Don’t force me to leave you! Don’t force me to go back to my own people. Let me go with you. Wherever you go, I will go. Wherever you sleep, I will sleep. Your people will be my people. Your God will be my God.
