Early the next morning, Abraham got some food and some water. Abraham gave these things to Hagar. Hagar carried these things and left with her boy. Hagar left that place and wandered in the desert of Beersheba.


In the morning Abraham got up and saddled his donkey. Abraham took Isaac and two servants with him. Abraham cut the wood for the sacrifice. [119] Then they went to the place God told them to go.


Solomon spoke to the people of Israel. He spoke to the captains, generals, judges, to every leader in all Israel, and to the leaders of the families.


During the time that Ahaz was king, he rebelled against God. He threw away many of the things that were in the temple. But we fixed all of those things and made them ready for their special use. They are now in front of the Lord’s altar.”


They brought seven bulls, seven rams, seven lambs, and seven young male goats. These animals were for a sin offering for the kingdom of Judah, for the Holy Place {\cf2\super [347]} to make it clean, and for the people of Judah. King Hezekiah commanded the priests that were descendants {\cf2\super [348]} of Aaron to offer those animals on the Lord’s altar. {\cf2\super [349]}


So Moses wrote all of the commands of the Lord {on a scroll}. The next morning, Moses got up and built an altar [155] near the bottom of the mountain. And he set up twelve stones—one for each of the twelve family groups of Israel.


The Lord has sent his servants, the prophets, to you over and over again. But you have not listened to them. You have not paid any attention to them.


Early the next morning, Joshua got up. The priests carried the Lord’s Holy Box [28] again.
