Shishak took the treasures from the Lord’s temple and from the king’s palace. He even took the gold shields that David had taken from the officers of Hadadezer, king of Aram. David had taken these shields to Jerusalem. But Shishak took all the gold shields.


He also built the building called “the Forest of Lebanon.” It was 100 cubits [57] long, 50 cubits [58] wide, and 30 cubits [59] high. It had four rows of cedar columns. On top of each column was a cedar capital. [60]


Shishak attacked Jerusalem and took the treasures that were in the Lord’s temple. {\cf2\super [167]} Shishak was the king of Egypt. And he also took the treasures that were in the king’s house. Shishak took everything and carried those treasures away. He also took the gold shields that Solomon had made.
