13 Amram’s sons were Aaron and Moses. Aaron was chosen to be very special. Aaron and his descendants {\cf2\super [246]} were chosen to be special forever and ever. They were chosen to prepare the holy things for the Lord’s service. Aaron and his descendants were chosen to burn the incense {\cf2\super [247]} before the Lord. They were chosen to serve the Lord as priests. They were chosen to use the Lord’s name and give blessings to the people forever.

Kohath had four sons. They were Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.


Amram’s children were Aaron, Moses, and Miriam.


Samuel was Elkanah’s son. Elkanah was Jeroham’s son. Jeroham was Eliel’s son. Eliel was Toah’s son.


The people became jealous of Moses.\par They became jealous of Aaron,\par the Lord’s holy priest.\par


Moses and Aaron were some of his priests.\par And Samuel was one of the men\par who called on his name.\par They prayed to the Lord,\par and he answered them.\par


“Make a strip of pure gold and carve words into the gold the way people make a seal. [258] Write these words: HOLY TO THE LORD.


“So I will make the Meeting Tent [286] holy. And I will make the altar [287] holy. And I will make Aaron and his sons holy so that they can serve me as priests.


Amram lived 137 years. Amram married his father’s sister, Jochebed. Amram and Jochebed gave birth to Aaron and Moses.


You must make a clear distinction (difference) between things that are holy and things that are not holy. You must make a clear distinction between things that are clean [118] and things that are unclean. [119]


The Lord said to Aaron, “You, your sons, and all the people in your father’s family are now responsible for any wrong things that are done against the holy place. You and your sons are responsible for wrong things that are done against the priests.


Amram’s wife was named Jochebed. She was also from Levi’s family group. She was born in Egypt. Amram and Jochebed has two sons, Aaron and Moses. They also had a daughter, Miriam.


The families of Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, belonged to the family of Kohath. They were the Kohathite family groups.


The priests always chose one priest to offer the incense. {\cf2\super [4]} Zechariah was chosen to do this. So Zechariah went into the temple {\cf2\super [5]} of the Lord (God) to offer the incense.


These men were all serving the Lord and fasting. {\cf2\super [245]} The Holy Spirit {\cf2\super [246]} said to them, “Give Barnabas and Saul to me to do a special work. I have chosen them to do this work.”

Another angel came and stood at the altar. {\cf2\super [61]} This angel had a golden holder for incense. {\cf2\super [62]} The angel was given much incense to offer with the prayers of all God’s holy people. {\cf2\super [63]} The angel put this offering on the golden altar before the throne.


I chose your family group from all the family groups of Israel. I chose your family group to be my priests. I chose them to offer sacrifices on my altar. I chose them to burn incense [29] and wear the ephod. [30] I also let your family group have the meat from the sacrifices that the people of Israel give to me.
