Joseph answered: Without me, God shall give Pharao a prosperous answer.


And after the earthquake a fire: the Lord is not in the fire. And after the fire a whistling of a gentle air.


And he called upon the Lord God, and said: Lord, there is no difference with thee, whether thou help with few, or with many. Help us, O Lord our God: for with confidence in thee, and in thy name, we are come against this multitude. O Lord thou art our God. Let not man prevail against thee.


Who came with Zorobabel: Josue, Nehemia, Saraia, Rahelaia, Mardochai, Belsan, Mesphar, Beguai, Rehum, Baana. The number of the men of the people of Israel:


And when the masons laid the foundations of the temple of the Lord the priests stood in their ornaments with trumpets: and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise God by the hands of David king of Israel.


Then rose up Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and Josue the son of Josedec, and began to build the temple of God in Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.


The eyes of the Lord are upon the just: and his ears unto their prayers.


I turned me to another thing, and I saw that under the sun, the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the learned, nor favour to the skilful: but time and chance in all.


WOE to you, apostate children, saith the Lord, that you would take counsel, and not of me: and would begin a web, and not by my spirit, that you might add sin upon sin.


Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high. And the desert shall be as a Charmel: and Charmel shall be counted for a forest.


Search ye diligently in the book of the Lord, and read: not one of them was wanting, one hath not sought for the other. For that which proceedeth out of my mouth, he hath commanded: and his spirit it hath gathered them.


And they from the west shall fear the name of the Lord: and they from the rising of the sun, his glory: when he shall come as a violent stream which the spirit of the Lord driveth on:


And I will have mercy on the house of Juda, and I will save them by the Lord their God: and Iwill not save them by bow, nor by sword, nor by battle, nor by horses, nor by horsemen.


In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the month, the word of the Lord came by the hand of Aggeus the prophet, to Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, governor of Juda, and to Jesus the son of Josedec the high priest, saying:


And the word of the Lord came a second time to Aggeus in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying:


And thou shalt speak to him, saying: Thus saith the Lord of hosts, saying: BEHOLD A MAN, THE ORIENT IS HIS NAME: and under him shall he spring up, and shall build a temple to the Lord.


May the Lord the God of the spirits of all flesh provide a man, that may be over this multitude:


And take unto you the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit (which is the word of God).


To whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you they ministered those things which are now declared to you by them that have preached the gospel to you, the Holy Ghost being sent down from heaven, on whom the angels desire to look.


And Jonathan said to the young man that bore his armour: Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. It may be the Lord will do for us, because it is easy for the Lord to save either by many, or by few.


And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for it is his battle; and he will deliver you into our hands.
