Who am to be consumed as rottenness, and as a garment that is moth-eaten.


My skin is become black upon me: and my bones are dried up with heat.


How much more shall they that dwell in houses of clay, who have an earthly foundation, be consumed as with the moth?


Let him take his rod away from me and let not his fear terrify me.


Behold the Lord God is my helper: who is he that shall condemn me? Lo, they shall all be destroyed as a garment: the moth shall eat them up.


And I will be like a moth to Ephraim: and like rottenness to the house of Juda.


To deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.


For whom the Lord loveth, he chastiseth; and he scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.


But had a check of his madness, the dumb beast used to the yoke, which speaking with man's voice, forbade the folly of the prophet.


Such as I love, I rebuke and chastise. Be zealous therefore, and do penance.
