Because I have kept the ways of the Lord: and have not wickedly departed from my God.


For David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul: O Lord my God, thou art exceedingly great. Thou hast put on praise and beauty:


Thou waterest the hills from thy upper rooms: the earth shall be filled with the fruit of thy works:


there the sparrows shall make their nests. The highest of them is the house of the heron.


Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.


I will take the chalice of salvation; and I will call upon the name of the Lord.


A gradual canticle. In my trouble I cried to the Lord: and he heard me.


What shall be given to thee, or what shall be added to thee, to a deceitful tongue.


I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains, from whence help shall come to me.


I rejoiced at the things that were said to me: We shall go into the house of the Lord.


To thee have I lifted up my eyes, who dwellest in heaven.


If it had not been that the Lord was with us, let Israel now say:


They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Sion: he shall not be moved for ever that dwelleth
