Alleluia. I have believed, therefore have I spoken; but I have been humbled exceedingly.


But the chamber that looketh towards the north shall be for the priests that watch over the ministry of the altar. These are the sons of Sadoc, who among the sons of Levi, come near to the Lord, to minister to him.


And thou shalt give to the priests, and the Levites, that are of the race of Sadoc, who approach to me, saith the Lord God, to offer to me a calf of the herd for sin.


No stranger shall eat of the sanctified things: a sojourner of the priests, or a hired servant, shall not eat of them.


When you are to go forward, the Levites shall take down the tabernacle: when you are to camp, they shall set it up. What stranger soever cometh to it shall be slain.


Then Eleazar the priest took the brazen censers, wherein they had offered, whom the burning fire had devoured: and beat them into plates, fastening them to the altar:


To Aaron and to his sons, to whom they are delivered by the children of Israel. But thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons over the service of priesthood. The stranger that approacheth to minister shall be put to death.


Before the tabernacle of the covenant, that is to say on the east side, shall Moses and Aaron camp, with their sons: having the custody of the sanctuary, in the midst of the children of Israel. What stranger soever cometh unto it shall be put to death.


Neither doth any man take the honour to himself, but he that is called by God, as Aaron was.


You shall answer them: The waters of the Jordan ran off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, when it passed over the same. Therefore were these stones set for a monument of the children of Israel for ever.


Woe unto them, for they have gone in the way of Cain: and after the error of Balaam they have for reward poured out themselves, and have perished in the contradiction of Core.
