And when Moses went forth to the tabernacle, all the people rose up, and every one stood in the door of his pavilion: and they beheld the back of Moses, till he went into the tabernacle.


Pride goeth before destruction: and the spirit is lifted up before a fall.


Before destruction, the heart of a man is exalted: and before he be glorified, it is humbled.


Wherefore, hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, who rule over my people that is in Jerusalem.


And behold Core the son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiron the sons of Eliab, and Hon the son of Pheleth of the children of Ruben,


That when Core perished, his sons did not perish.
