Now giants were upon the earth in those days. For after the sons of God went in to the daughters of men, and they brought forth children, these are the mighty men of old, men of renown.


And of the sons of Ephraim, twenty thousand eight hundred, men of great valour renowned in their kindreds.


And these were the heads of the house of their kindred: Epher, and Jesi, and Eliel, and Esriel, and Jeremia, and Odoia, and Jediel; most valiant and powerful men, and famous chiefs in their families.


And thy renown went forth among the nations for thy beauty: for thou wast perfect through my beauty which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord God.


They discovered her disgrace, took away her sons and daughters, and slew her with the sword: and they became infamous women and they executed judgments in her.


These are the most noble princes of the multitude by their tribes and kindreds, and the chiefs of the army of Israel,


And Mary and Aaron spoke against Moses, because of his wife the Ethiopian,


And a fire coming out from the Lord destroyed the two hundred and fifty men that offered the incense.


His sons were Namuel and Dathan and Abiron. These are Dathan and Abiron the princes of the people, that rose against Moses and Aaron in the sedition of Core, when they rebelled against the Lord.


Our father died in the desert, and was not in the sedition that was raised against the Lord under Core but he died in his own sin. And he had no male children. Why is his name taken away out of his family, because he had no son? Give us a possession among the kinsmen of our father.
