So they marched from the mount of the Lord three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the Lord went before them, for three days providing a place for the camp.


The Amalecite and the Chanaanite are before you: and by their sword you shall fall, because you would not consent to the Lord, neither will the Lord be with you.


But the soul that committeth any thing through pride, whether he be born in the land or a stranger (because he hath been rebellious against the Lord) shall be cut off from among his people.


And Moses sent them with Phinees the son of Eleazar the priest: and he delivered to him the holy vessels, and the trumpets to sound.


I spoke, and you hearkened not: but resisting the commandment of the Lord, and swelling with pride, you went up into the mountain.
