Suppose thou didst desire to go to thy friends, and hadst a longing after thy father's house: why hast thou stolen away my gods?


making wars to cease even to the end of the earth. He shall destroy the bow, and break the weapons: and the shield he shall burn in the fire.


And he let his kinsman depart: and he returned and went into his own country.


But what think you? A certain man had two sons; and coming to the first, he said: Son, go work to day in my vineyard.


And he answering, said: I will not. But afterwards, being moved with repentance, he went.


If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
