Our God is our refuge and strength: a helper in troubles, which have found us exceedingly.


AND it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he passed from thence, to teach and preach in their cities.


AND it came to pass when Jesus had ended these words, he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judea, beyond Jordan.


And the multitudes hearing it, were in admiration at his doctrine.


AND it came to pass, when Jesus had ended all these words, he said to his disciples:


And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and they beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall thereof.


For he was teaching them as one having power, and not as the scribes and Pharisees.

And all gave testimony to him: and they wondered at the words of grace that proceeded from his mouth, and they said: Is not this the son of Joseph?


And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his speech was with power.


AND when he had finished all his words in the hearing of the people, he entered into Capharnaum.


And the Jews wondered, saying: How doth this man know letters, having never learned?


The ministers answered: Never did man speak like this man.
