I have not departed from the commandments of his lips: and the words of his mouth I have hid in my bosom.


All my bones shall say: Lord, who is like to thee? Who deliverest the poor from the hand of them that are stronger than he; the needy and the poor from them that strip him.


Remove far from me vanity, and lying words. Give me neither beggary, nor riches: give me only the necessaries of life:


He shall dwell on high: the fortifications of rocks shall be his highness. Bread is given him, his waters are sure.


Who answered and said: It is written, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.


Give us this day our daily bread.


Now we charge them that are such, and beseech them by the Lord Jesus Christ, that, working with silence, they would eat their own bread.


But having food, and wherewith to be covered, with these we are content.


And she arose to go from the land of Moab to her own country with both her daughters-in-law: for she had heard that the Lord had looked upon his people, and had given them food.
