Hast not thou made a fence for him, and his house, and all his substance round about: blessed the works of his hands, and his possession hath increased on the earth?


But thou shalt have a covenant with the stones of the lands, and the beasts of the earth shall be at peace with thee.


For they spoke indeed peaceably to me; and speaking in the anger of the earth they devised guile.


For without cause they have hidden their net for me unto destruction: without cause they have upbraided my soul.


Who answered and said: It is written, Not in bread alone doth man live, but in every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God.


And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light.


Are they not all ministering spirits, sent to minister for them, who shall receive the inheritance of salvation?
