But they thought within themselves, saying: Because we have taken no bread.


Jesus answering, said to them: I also will ask you one word, which if you shall tell me, I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.


If we shall say, from heaven, he will say to us: Why then did you not believe him? But if we shall say, from men, we are afraid of the multitude: for all held John as a prophet.


But they held their peace. But he taking him, healed him, and sent him away.


But they thought within themselves, saying: If we shall say, From heaven: he will say: Why then did you not believe him?


John beareth witness of him, and crieth out, saying: This was he of whom I spoke: He that shall come after me, is preferred before me: because he was before me.


There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.


He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.


For if our heart reprehend us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
