With all watchfulness keep thy heart, because life issueth out from it.


O generation of vipers, how can you speak good things, whereas you are evil? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.


But he said: Are you also yet without understanding?


And calling again the multitude unto him, he said to them: Hear ye me all, and understand.


If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.


And he said to them: You know how abominable it is for a man that is a Jew, to keep company or to come unto one of another nation: but God hath shewed to me, to call no man common or unclean.


For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but justice, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.


Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, eat; asking no question for conscience' sake.


All things are clean to the clean: but to them that are defiled, and to unbelievers, nothing is clean: but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.


Be not led away with various and strange doctrines. For it is best that the heart be established with grace, not with meats; which have not profited those that walk in them.


And divers washings, and justices of the flesh laid on them until the time of correction.
