And his disciples came and said to him: Why speakest thou to them in parables?


Then having sent away the multitudes, he came into the house, and his disciples came to him, saying: Expound to us the parable of the cockle of the field.


AND after six days Jesus taketh unto him Peter and James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart:


AND when they drew nigh to Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto mount Olivet, then Jesus sent two disciples,


And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the consummation of the world?


And James and John the sons of Zebedee, come to him, saying: Master, we desire that whatsoever we shall ask, thou wouldst do it for us:


Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall begin to be fulfilled?


And he taketh Peter and James and John with him; and he began to fear and to be heavy.


And without parable he did not speak unto them; but apart, he explained all things to his disciples.


And he admitted not any man to follow him, but Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.


And his garments became shining and exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller upon earth can make white.
