If a famine arise in the land, or a pestilence, or corrupt air, or blasting, or locust, or mildew; if their enemy afflict them besieging the gates, whatsoever plague, whatsoever infirmity:


But if the priest going in perceive that the leprosy is not spread in the house, after it was plastered again, he shall purify it, it being cured


And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom: and healing all manner of sickness and every infirmity, among the people.


And his fame went throughout all Syria, and they presented to him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and such as were possessed by devils, and lunatics, and those that had palsy, and he cured them:


For he healed many, so that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had evils.


And forthwith the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the evil.


And he said to her: Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole: go in peace, and be thou whole of thy disease.


And when the men were come unto him, they said: John the Baptist hath sent us to thee, saying: Art thou he that art to come; or look we for another?


For whom the Lord loveth, he chastiseth; and he scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
