Go back, and tell Ezechias the captain of my people: Thus saith the Lord the God of David thy father: I have heard thy prayer, and I have seen thy tears: and, behold, I have healed thee. On the third day thou shalt go up to the temple of the Lord.


And let them be ready against the third day: for on the third day the Lord will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.


For he hath taken us, and he will heal us: he will strike, and he will cure us.


For you shall pass over the Jordan, to possess the land, which the Lord your God will give you that you may have it and possess it.


And I commanded you at that time, saying: The Lord your God giveth you this land for an inheritance. Go ye well appointed before your brethren the children of Israel, all the strong men of you,


Hear, O Israel: Thou shalt go over the Jordan this day, to possess nations very great, and stronger than thyself, cities great, and walled up to the sky:


And Josue commanded the princes of the people, saying: Pass through the midst of the camp, and command the people, and say:


Moses my servant is dead. Arise, and pass over this Jordan, thou and thy people with thee, into the land which I will give to the children of Israel.
