And he commanded the first, saying: If thou meet my brother Esau, and he ask thee: Whose art thou? Or, Whither goest thou? Or, Whose are these before thee?


And ye shall add: Thy servant Jacob himself also followeth after us. For he said: I will appease him with the presents that go before, and afterwards I will see him. Perhaps he will be gracious to me.


Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:


Counsel shall keep thee, and prudence shall preserve thee,


For he will instruct him in judgment: his God will teach him.


Behold I send you as sheep in the midst of wolves. Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves.


And she said to her servants: Go before me. Behold, I will follow after you. But she told not her husband Nabal.
