And he said to man: Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom: and to depart from evil, is understanding.


We cannot find him worthily. He is great in strength, and in judgment, and in justice: and he is ineffable.


the proud have hidden a net for me. And they have stretched out cords for a snare: they have laid for me a stumblingblock by the wayside.


And he will bring forth thy justice as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.


And I understood that man can find no reason of all those works of God that are done under the sun: and the more he shall labour to seek, so much the less shall he find: yea, though the wise man shall say, that he knoweth it, he shall not be able to find it.


O the depth of the riches of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are his judgments, and how unsearchable his ways!


Who only hath immortality, and inhabiteth light inaccessible, whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and empire everlasting. Amen.
