And David gave to Solomon his son a description of the porch, and of the temple, and of the treasures, and of the upper floor, and of the inner chambers, and of the house for the mercy seat:


All these things, said he, came to me written by the hand of the Lord, that I might understand all the works of the pattern.


And the king called Joiada the chief, and said to him: Why hast thou not taken care to oblige the Levites to bring in out of Juda and Jerusalem the money that was appointed by Moses the servant of the Lord for all the multitude of Israel to bring into the tabernacle of the testimony?


Look and make it according to the pattern, that was shewn thee in the mount.


And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the pattern that was shewn thee in the mount.


Thou shalt not make it solid, but empty and hollow in the inside: as it was shewn thee in the mount.


These are the instruments of the tabernacle of the testimony, which were counted according to the commandment of Moses, in the ceremonies of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron, the priest:


The second year, in the second month, the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle of the covenant.


And take with thee thy brethren also of the tribe of Levi, and the sceptre of thy father: and let them be ready in hand, and minister to thee. But thou and thy sons shall minister in the tabernacle of the testimony.


Now on the day that the tabernacle was reared up, a cloud covered it. But from the evening there was over the tabernacle, as it were, the appearance of fire until the morning.


A minister of the holies, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord hath pitched, and not man.


Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things. As it was answered to Moses, when he was to finish the tabernacle: See (saith he) that thou make all things according to the pattern which was shewn thee on the mount.


And all the children of Israel assembled together in Silo. And there they set up the tabernacle of the testimony: and the land was subdued before them.


So the people went out of their tents, to pass over the Jordan: and the priests, that carried the ark of the covenant, went on before them.
