And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words: going forth out of that house or city shake off the dust from your feet.


He that receiveth you, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.


And he from within should answer, and say: Trouble me not, the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.


And we helping do exhort you, that you receive not the grace of God in vain.


Either for Titus, who is my companion and fellow labourer towards you, or our brethren, the apostles of the churches, the glory of Christ.


And I entreat thee also, my sincere companion, help those women who have laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement and the rest of my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life.


And Jesus, that is called Justus: who are of the circumcision: these only are my helpers in the kingdom of God; who have been a comfort to me.


And we sent Timothy, our brother, and the minister of God in the gospel of Christ, to confirm you and exhort you concerning your faith:


And to Appia, our dearest sister, and to Archippus, our fellow soldier, and to the church which is in thy house:


Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke my fellow labourers.


For this cause, if I come, I will advertise his works which he doth, with malicious words prating against us. And as if these things were not enough for him, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and them that do receive them he forbiddeth, and casteth out of the church.


Because, for his name they went out, taking nothing of the Gentiles.


I had written perhaps to the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the pre-eminence among them, doth not receive us.
