To perform mercy to our fathers, and to remember his holy testament,


Through the bowels of the mercy of our God, in which the Orient from on high hath visited us:


And Joanna the wife of Chusa, Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others who ministered unto him of their substance.


And he came to Ephesus, and left them there. But he himself entering into the synagogue, disputed with the Jews.


But taking his leave, and saying: I will return to you again, God willing, he departed from Ephesus.


AND it came to pass, while Apollo was at Corinth, that Paul having passed through the upper coasts, came to Ephesus, and found certain disciples.


Who also will confirm you unto the end without crime, in the day of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.


But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.


Every man's work shall be manifest; for the day of the Lord shall declare it, because it shall be revealed in fire; and the fire shall try every man's work, of what sort it is.


For concerning the ministry that is done towards the saints, it is superfluous for me to write unto you.


But God, (who is rich in mercy,) for his exceeding charity wherewith he loved us,


For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glory? Are not you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?


As I desired thee to remain at Ephesus when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some not to teach otherwise,


For which cause I also suffer these things: but I am not ashamed. For I know whom I have believed, and I am certain that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him, against that day.


The Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus: because he hath often refreshed me, and hath not been ashamed of my chain:


But when he was come to Rome, he carefully sought me, and found me.


But Tychicus I have sent to Ephesus.


As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice, which the Lord the just judge will render to me in that day: and not only to me, but to them also that love his coming. Make haste to come to me quickly.


For God is not unjust, that he should forget your work, and the love which you have shewn in his name, you who have ministered, and do minister to the saints.


Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and diligently searched, who prophesied of the grace to come in you.


Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write: These things saith he, who holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:
