And the king's servants said to him: Whatsoever our lord the king shall command we thy servants will willingly execute.


With a thousand men of Benjamin, and Siba the servant of the house of Saul. And his fifteen sons, and twenty servants were with him. And going over the Jordan,


And Miphiboseth the son of Saul came down to meet the king and he had neither washed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his garments from the day that the king went out, until the day of his return in peace.


And he answering said: My lord, O king, my servant despised me. For I thy servant spoke to him to saddle me an ass, that I might get on and go with the king: for I thy servant am lame.


Thou therefore and thy sons and thy servants shall till the land for him: and thou shalt bring in food for thy master's son, that he may be maintained: and Miphiboseth the son of thy master shall always eat bread at my table. And Siba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.


And Miphiboseth had a young son whose name was Micha: and all the kindred of the house of Siba served Miphiboseth.


But Miphiboseth dwelt in Jerusalem: because he ate always of the king's table. And he was lame of both feet.
