Saul and Jonathan, lovely, and comely in their life, even in death they were not divided: they were swifter than eagles, stronger than lions.


How are the valiant fallen in battle? Jonathan slain in the high places?


And I made haircloth my garment: and I became a byword to them.


As an earring of gold and a bright pearl, so is he that reproveth the wise, and the obedient ear.


She shall not fear for her house in the cold of snow: for all her domestics are clothed with double garments.


Will a virgin forget her ornament, or a bride her stomacher? But my people hath forgotten me days without number.


Perhaps he is now dividing the spoils, and the fairest of the women is chosen out for him. Garments of divers colours are given to Sisara for his prey, and furniture of different kinds is heaped together to adorn the necks.
