And he said to her: Go, borrow of all thy neighbours empty vessels not a few.


So the woman went, and shut the door upon her, and upon her sons. They brought her the vessels, and she poured in.


Go, my people, enter into thy chambers, shut thy doors upon thee, hide thyself a little for a moment, until the indignation pass away.


But thou when thou shalt pray, enter into thy chamber, and having shut the door, pray to thy Father in secret: and thy Father who seeth in secret will repay thee.


And they laughed him to scorn. But he having put them all out, taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
