And they reckoned not with the men that received the money to distribute it to the workmen: but they bestowed it faithfully.


That is, to carpenters and masons, and to such as mend breaches: and that timber may be bought, and stones out of the quarries, to repair the temple of the Lord.


And when they had finished all the works, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Joiada: and with it were made vessels for the temple, for the ministry, and for holocausts and bowls, and other vessels of gold and silver. And holocausts were offered in the house of the Lord continually all the days of Joiada.


I commanded Hanani my brother, and Hananias ruler of the house of Jerusalem, (for he seemed as a sincere man, and one that feared God above the rest)


A faithful man shall be much praised: but he that maketh haste to be rich, shall not be innocent.


Here now it is required among the dispensers, that a man be found faithful.


And the things which thou hast heard of me by many witnesses, the same commend to faithful men, who shall be fit to teach others also.


Dearly beloved, thou dost faithfully whatever thou dost for the brethren, and that for strangers,
