But Joiada commended the centurions that were over the army, and said to them: Have her forth without the precinct of the temple; and whosoever shall follow her, let him be slain with the sword. For the priest had said: Let her not be slain in the temple of the Lord.


But let two parts of you, all that go forth on the sabbath, keep the watch of the house of the Lord about the king.


And let the Levites be round about the king, every man with his arms; and if any other come into the temple, let him be slain. And let them be with the king, both coming in, and going out.


If a man kill his neighbour on set purpose, and by lying in wait for him: thou shalt take him away from my altar, that he may die.


May the Lord the God of the spirits of all flesh provide a man, that may be over this multitude:


And may go out and in before them, and may lead them out, or bring them in: lest the people of the Lord be as sheep without a shepherd.
