Moses went his way, and returned to Jethro his father-in-law and said to him: I will go and return to my brethren into Egypt, that I may see if they be yet alive. And Jethro said to him: Go in peace.


A cautious man concealeth knowledge: and the heart of fools publisheth folly.


A fool uttereth all his mind: a wise man deferreth, and keepeth it till afterwards.


A time to rend, and a time to sew. A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.


And the spirit of the Lord came upon Samson, and he tore the lion as he would have torn a kid in pieces, having nothing at all in his hand: and he would not tell this to his father and mother.


And when be had taken it in his hands, he went on eating: and coming to his father and mother, he gave them of it, and they ate. But he would not tell them, that he had taken the honey from the body of the lion.


And his uncle said to him: Tell me what Samuel said to thee.


And as for the asses, which were lost three days ago, be not solicitous, because they are found. And for whom shall be all the best things of Israel? Shall they not be for thee and for all thy father's house?


And as they were going down in the end of the city, Samuel said to Saul: Speak to the servant to go before us, and pass on. But stand thou still a while, that I may tell thee the word of the Lord.
